School Christmas Fiesta

Mid December we attended Dylan's school Christmas Fiesta. Dylan's class sang and danced to two songs and then each family put a decoration on the tree and told the group what they were grateful for or wishing for for the next year.  We knew that one of the songs would be jingle bells because Dylan had been singing it and doing actions for weeks before the performance.  Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Christmas

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Alex and Edgar's.  It was a great evening.  Dylan had fun playing with Gael and Damien.  Dylan also really enjoyed looking at Alex and Edgar's fish and eating the Spinach soup.  Several days later Dylan was heard saying "it was so good, I ate it and ate it and ate it".  The Spinach soup was really good but the Turkey was amazing!

Dylan was also really excited about the gift he got from Alex and Edgar.  He got to take the wrapping off on Christmas Eve but didn't get to open the box.  Opening the box was the first priority on Christmas morning despite all the other mysterious wrapped gifts sitting under the tree.

Pooh's visit

Dylan's class has a Pooh that gets to go visiting with the children when they are good.  Dylan got to bring him home for the weekend.  I'm not sure what happened to Pooh but he needed to be 'fixed' with the tools and then he had some lessons in potty training.

Christmas Cookies

We baked Christmas Cookies and Dylan helped to decorate them.....although I think there was a number of cookies that didn't make it past wet frosting stage.

Early Christmas

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for a long weekend in early December. It was early Christmas for Dylan and Christmas lasted for days. There was something new to open each day.
