New Zealand - Part 1
Dylan and I survived the great journey to New Zealand and back. I am currently reviewing the photos in an effort to avoid doing other things that need doing - how is that for procrastination! So we will see how far I get through the NZ photos before we head off to Minneapolis on Friday and begin to add to the photo backlog.
~Passing the time in Auckland before our flight to New Plymouth.
~The Mountain
~Seeing Pop-pop & Nana's farm. I thought Dylan was going to have a nap when we arrived at Nana and Pop-pop's house because he had fallen asleep in the car but as soon as I put him down his eyes popped open and he asked to see Pop-pop's farm. So off we went...

Summer in Mexico City
End of Year School Festival
Dylan's end of school festival was in the middle of June. I knew that the children would all be wearing costume because the parents had received several reminders to pay for the costumes at the school reception in the weeks leading up to the festival. The week before the festival the costume was sent home from school so that Dylan could arrive at school on the day of the festival in costume.
At the festival the parents were given masks to wear so the children wouldn't recognize their parents. The children came on stage and they sang a song with actions (some of them!). After the song they sat on the stage and all of the diplomas were given out. It was probably just as well we had masks, once they were off and Dylan finally picked me out he almost cried.
Here are the pictures....
