Lots of catching up to do after our four weeks in Minnesota. So while we get settled back into our routines here is a guest post from Matt (He has lots of great stories that he tells me. We are working on ways to get them recorded).
With all our traveling back and forth to the US this summer through airports, and Dylan now needing to use bathrooms, we spent a lot of time in a lot of bathrooms. Dylan always likes to flush the toilet himself, but in most of the airport bathrooms the toilets have automatic flushing capabilities. When Dylan asked me if he could flush the toilet, I told him that we don’t have to because these toilets have automatic flush (we then talked about what automatic means). At the next toilet break as we were walking into the bathroom, Dylan asked me if these toilets were ‘automagic’? Although it is not the correct word, I thought that automagic probably seems much more accurate in the mind of a 3 year old after seeing a toilet flush on its own.
