By Sunday we had gotten into what I call holiday mode. Lots of lounging about, boating, swimming, relaxing and enjoying the sun. We raided the wild strawberries. Yum!
Family Photos:
Rod and Sarah by the tree they planted during their wedding. It has an important role now that two trees close by had to be taken down.
Flags out for 4th of July.
Some batting practice. We need to get a cricket bat so Dylan knows what he is doing when we visit NZ.
Loon with two babies. We saw the whole family one day and one of the parents feeding one of the little ones. Unfortunately it was the boat ride that I didn't take the camera on. Dylan learned about the sounds loons make.
More boating and "bare footing".
Dylan would have jumped right over the edge if we let him.
A little kayaking. Dylan just sat on my lap holding onto the sides.
More paddling pool time.
Watermelon.
Watering the plants with Grandma.
Reading with Grandma.
Indoor swimming. He is still doing this all over the place.
The Beach in Walker.
Goofing around.
Dylan loves to wear things around his neck....
Egg and Spoon but with a spade and rock.
Dylan was very interested in the chipmunks and even learned to call them 'hear chippy chip chip....'.
