Dia de los Muertos - Altar

Dylan and his school made a big Altar for Dia de los Muertos.  Great Grandpa Joblin was lucky enough to have his picture included on the altar.


We also started out own altar at home which was dedicated to sweet Micah DeKam. We were just learning so at the time of the picture the altar looks a little sparse but we did have: water for the long journey, a sugar skull, some candy, orange balloons (Dylan took a liking to these early on), papel de picado, a candle,marigolds, and we ate lots of pan de muerto.
