Sayulita

In early November we went to Sayulita for a week of sun, sand and surf.  The surf was a request from Matt, who said that he had to have a week surfing in Sayulita while we are living in Mexico (it would be wrong not to).  We rented a place on the beach using vacation rentals by owner.  The place was great!  It was in a little complex right on the beach with a pool.  The place we rented was right at the front so we had a great view of the beach.  We had a little problem with gas supply but it was warm enough that it didn't matter that we had cold showers for the first couple of days.  Also we have been living in Mexico long enough to say 'well, we could have worse problems'.

On our way to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta we stopped at the supermarket to stock up - Matt ended up doing this by himself as Dylan had already fallen asleep on me.

~ At the Sayulita weekend market. There was a great selection of prepared food and drink and some fresh fruit and vegetables for those that wanted to make their own thing.

~ Mexican Food Truck (kind of). It was a little trailer parked across the street from our place. We ate their for lunch and dinner a couple of times.

~Post popsicle face. This was the chocolate coconut one from the market. We also had some great popsicles in town...I may have even gone to town a couple of times under the guise of shopping just to get a passion-fruit popsicle.
Photobucket We may have also had churros almost every night after dinner - but there is no evidence to prove it!
